Cleanroom develops a proposal for the architectural colonization of the free-standing advertising billboard structure. This proposal injects residential program into the otherwise imposed social structure of the advertising billboard and utilizes its material structure as its container.
Raised above the urban landscape on a pedestal, the inhabitant of OARP is isolated within the container of the billboard. Elevated above obstructions, the occupant of OARP obtains a privileged view.
These occupiable billboard structures could potentially pay for themselves through advertising revenues.
